When I rediscovered art about 13 years ago, I had no idea it would lead me in so many wonderful directions, meeting wonderful people and having the opportunity to share what I create with the world. But here we are, and I could not be more grateful that you are here with me.

As this site develops, I envision it becomes a place people come to be inspired, to learn and to share. This is not just a place for me to make work available to the masses. To me, it is really the opportunity to share my knowledge, inspiration, tips and to interact with people who share my passion for art, and my wonder and awe of nature.

INSPIRATION
The awe and wonder in nature
Most of my work is inspired by nature. Whether I am using plants in my cyanotypes, being inspired to paint flowers and bright colors, or geeking out over how ink and water move and flow on paper, nature is where it all begins.
​
That inspiration always leads to research, learning and experimentation as part of my art practice. I love to learn how and why things are done, and inevitably ask 'what if I do this or change that?' Even the failed experiment tells you about how the world works.
